As the majority of countries rejoice over the toppling of Syrian despot Bashar al-assad and his subsequent running like a rabbit from a country that he and his family ripped apart , so ends 50 years of political reign by the brutal Assad dynasty.
The Assad family who lived a lavish lifestyle during their political reign were multi billionaires living in a palace whilst the Syrian people lived in abject poverty with most living below the breadline.
There remains nothing left to be said other than good riddance!
As to those who accuse the Syrian Rebels of being a terrorist organisation and a front for ISIS history will show that in fact these freedom fighters are a gathering and partnering of a number of opposition liberation movements rebranding themselves as pragmatic democratic moderates concerned only with the rebuilding of their broken country.
There should be no huff and puff about the dethroning of a brutal despicable family dynasty who partnered with Russia in keeping the Syrian population in chains for over 50 years!
Instead the question to be asked is why the Assad dynasty departure took over 50 years!
May the light shine on a free democratic Syria as it launches into the 21st century.
