Durban — In celebration of Women’s Month, outgoing Miss South Africa Natasha Joubert spoke on her partnership with Château Gâteaux as they celebrated the newly revamped Illovo Château Gâteaux, as well as the recent launch of Château Gâteaux at Clearwater Mall.

Joubert, 27, said that celebrating such an achievement as her reign comes to an end is important during Women’s Month.

Joubert said: “What a beautiful way to celebrate it – in Women’s Month. By women achieving amazing things, we get to show how possible it is, but also how important it is to dream big. Women are rapidly taking up all the space they deserve.”

Joubert said she is a person who loves to celebrate, whether it is small victories or big ones, and that she also loves celebrating other people, and what better way than over a delicious piece of cake.

She added that having just finished her reign as Miss South Africa, she wanted to celebrate an incredible year with some of her closest people.

Joubert said she intends to go back to her fashion business and that she has ideas to begin another business venture.

During her spare time, she enjoys the small things in life, which include spending time with her family and friends, her pets, hosting people and playing padel.

Joubert concluded by sharing her mindset and encouraged others to have a similar ideology in everything they do.

She said: “You’re not a product of your circumstances but of the choice you make. You can always decide how to take on an opportunity.”

In their statement, Château Gâteaux said that these celebrations not only underscore their commitment to excellence, but also their dedication to empowering women.

“Partnering with Natasha Joubert and welcoming (celebrity chef) Lorna Maseko into our family reinforces our commitment to celebrating bold, empowering women. Their remarkable journey and achievements resonate with our ethos of crafting exceptional experiences. We are excited to have such influential women leading our celebrations for Women’s Month that honour and uplift women everywhere,” said Tamsyn Hendricks, spokesperson for Château Gâteaux.
