Multi-award-winning rapper and businessman, Kanye West is back at it again on social media.

West, who is now known as Ye, has been trending on X due to a series of posts that have both entertained and provoked his fans and critics.

Described by some as a “social media meltdown”, Ye’s posts have dominated trending topics and sparked extensive debate across the platform.

This week, attention initially centred around Bianca Censori, Ye's wife, who was the talk of the town for her bold fashion choice at the Grammy Awards.

However, as the dust settled, it became clear that Ye’s vocal proclamations were set to steal the spotlight.

The rapper's urgent plea to “Free Puff”, referring to the imprisoned music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs, drew immediate reactions.

He followed this with a rant aimed at his industry peers, saying: “All these celebrity ni**as and b****es is p***y yall a watch our brother rot and never say sh**.”

In a series of posts that followed, Ye unabashedly proclaimed his supremacy in the music industry, saying: “Im hands down better at music than anyone ever Ima get there with clothing and then with homes and cities and Ima talk my sh** the entire time.”

He continued: “All rappers want my spot. I will never not know that every rapper living wanna be me . Every rapper living wish they was Ye.”

He further added that he loves American singer and rapper Ty Dolla $ign because Ty was the only person in the industry that stood by him when he was “cancelled”.

“When I was cancelled no ni**a showed up for me other than Ty, every single other ni**a waited for it to be safe. Ni**as waited for me to be in good standing with the jews then they came around. That ni**a better than everybody anyway.”

When comments came flooding in to his various posts, the rapper responded: “I aint adjusting nothing I do or say for anybody who has enough time on their hands to sit and talk about what the f*** I write.

"Positive or negative your opinions don’t mean sh** to me. I don’t give a f*** what anyone likes, everything I do or make is self serving I make everything for myself. If you don’t like it I don’t give a f***.”

In another set of tweets he spoke about hating Jewish people, stating that even though they want to work with him, they should know this fact.

Commenting on his wife’s Grammys nude dress he wrote: “Anyone who called my wife’s Grammy look a stunt is dumb and laaaame yes youuuu. She been dressing naked for 2 years.

“Now all of a sudden it’s a stunt. Every single b**ch on the planet wish they had her bravery body platform and access to money and a husband that supported they personal expression.

“There are a lot of things that had to converge for this moment to happen.”

Of course netizens took the opportunity to chime in.

@heli_b commented: “Cocaine + Benzos + bipolar do not go well together.”

@XtexasgirlX commented: “Ye's 5 AM tweet storm might be the dawn of a digital genius or the twilight of his mystique; in a world where every thought is tweeted, the value of silence is underestimated.”
