South African actress, TV personality and now acclaimed producer, Ntando Duma took to Instagram to share with her fans her excitement about the nominated music video in which she produced.

The South African Music Awards (SAMAs) is hosted annually to honour, recognise and celebrate South African artists. The award ceremony was established in 1995.

Duma, the 28-year-old mother of one, shared her excitement on social media after the list of nominated music videos of the year came out.

She said, “ What an incredible time to be a multifaceted queen, blessed with the opportunity to pour my heart and soul into a project that showcases my creativity and thoughts”

“Imagine your work being nominated for a SAMA award?Haibo nina! Hamba Juba, a music video that I produced and directed is nominated under “Music Video of the year” category at this year's SAMAs! God is sooo good!”

Duma also went on to share other music videos she directed and produced on the second slide of her Instagram.

Some of the music videos include your songs such as “Suka” by Khanyisa and Tyler ICU and “Jiva Phez’kwembhede” by Babes Wodumo and the late Mampintsha.

Other nominees of music video of the year include, “Water” by Tyla, “Mnike” by Tyler ICU, “Sosh Plata” by Loatinover Pounds featuring 25K, “Mohigan Sun” by Morda, Oscar Mbo and Murumba Pitch, “Lemons” by AKA featuring Nasty C and lastly “Ronda” by Blxckie.

Last year, the awards ceremony brought a lot of drama with them after Kelly Khumalo took to X formerly known as Twitter to share her frustrations with the public about being nominated on two categories but failing to win not even either of the two nominations.

Khumalo went on a full rant and called the ceremony a rigged game and called them everything name you can think of.

There is plenty of mystery around this year’s awards, with a date and venue yet to even be announced.
