Nicki Minaj has announced she is going to drop an album called “Pink Friday 3” instead of a deluxe edition that she initially promised to drop.

The 41-year-old rapper is known for her versatile rap style, excellent rap flow and her alter egos.

The mother of one, took to X on Monday, to announce the news of her album, “Pink Friday 3”.

“Instead of doing a deluxe to Pink Friday 2, I have decided to do a brand new album. I will announce the new date within the next couple of weeks. The new music is just too good to be thrown away on a deluxe album” she said.

The “Queen of Rap” said that “Pink Friday 2” album means so much to her as she became a mother and she wants to be intentional about every single decision being made around the two albums.

There were mixed reactions from social media users after the announcement of the new album, fans expressed how ecstatic they are that she is releasing a new album.

X user @BadGirlChunLi commented, “This year has just gotten more and more special and iconic. Can’t believe I will be able to experience two Nicki Minaj albums.”

However some fans are not so excited about the news as they have expressed that Nicki Minaj needs to let go of the Pink Friday theme, as they want something new and different from the Pink Friday theme.

Nicki Minaj’s successful rap career has been globally noticed as she rose to fame in the 2000s and she has won many accolades from BET awards, MTV awards as well American Music Awards.
