Music fans are in for a treat as Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s collaborative album, “Missionary”, is expected to be released next month.

The rap icons’ latest offering is also set to feature a range of top collaborations, including with the likes of Sting and “an amazing roster of artists”, “Entertainment Tonight” has reported.

Without revealing too many details about their latest offering, the “The Next Episode” hitmaker told the publication that he is thrilled about this project.

“There’s a song, we have Sting on the song. Man, it’s an amazing roster of artists that’s on this album,” he teased, before adding: “I shouldn’t have revealed that, to be honest.”

The American record producer and rapper also explained what it was like to work with Snoop again and that the album was nearing completion.

“I wanted 14 songs, Snoop wants 16, so we have that thing happening.”

“I’m on song number 11 as far as the mixes go.”

The hip hop heavyweights are renowned for their collaborations that date back decades and have achieved widespread success.

This includes working together many times on Dre’s 1992 solo album “The Chronic,” and on the hit song “Forgot About Dre”.

Their other collaborative track, “Still D.R.E.”, which was released in 1999, currently has over a whopping 18 billion views on YouTube.

The duo also set the music world alight when they performed together with Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.

They also took to the stage at the Paris 2024 Olympics’ closing ceremony in August.

On the new album, Dre said: “This one’s gonna show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and with my music.”

“I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve done in my career, I’m not playing.”

“The musicians I’m working with right now and some of the writers in the studio that are helping us… Snoop is really excited about this and so am I. I think people are gonna really enjoy this.”

Meanwhile, November will also mark the 31st anniversary of “Missionary’s” predecessor, “Doggystyle” and when the album was first announced in 2022, Snoop called it their “30th anniversary to Doggystyle.”

“It’s been 30 years and believe it or not I’ve only (previously) produced one album with him, ‘Doggystyle’, this is my first time producing an entire album of his,” he added.
