Actress Letoya Makhene has returned to the studio and back to making music, with a new record label Ntetha Global Effect.

Taking to Instagram, Makhene has celebrated her return to music, calling it the “most powerful chapter” of her life.

Her new label Ntethe Global Effect; an entertainment company founded by award-winning musician and music executive Ntethelelo Mposwa, known simply as Ntethe. The company is underwritten by Universal Music Publishing Group.

"Signing with Ntethe Global Effect is a dream come true. It is great to finally get back to doing what I was born to do and to be able to work with a team of professionals whose goals are aligned with mine.

“I believe Ntethe Global Effect is the company that is going to take my music and my brand to the next level.”

The former ‘Generations’ actress expressed excitement to be working with Ntethe, calling both a blessing and challenge.

"Working with Ntethe has been both a blessing and a challenge because as a vocal producer, he has really stretched me beyond my limits.”

Her return to music comes after her messy split from Lebogang Pulumo Keswa with allegations of abuse being hurled at each other.

Over the weekend Pulumo trended after screenshots of Whatsapp status’ of her denying allegations of being abusive and having taken Makhene’s money.

“Letoya was literally a pauper and prostituting herself for survival when I met her. [Makhene] literally moved into my place with a suitcase.

“She was broke and unemployed, she could hardly afford to feed her own kids. She is back in the streets without a home, a cent she has nothing,” wrote Keswa.
