Jamie Fine, the Canadian singer-songwriter, is coming back to South Africa with her highly anticipated 'If This Is It' tour.
This tour will mark her third live performance in South Africa.
She’s set to captivate audiences at the Durban Botanic Gardens on April 19, before heading to Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens, Johannesburg on April 26, followed by the Hartland Equestrian Park in the North West on April 28.
On May 1, she will be in Gqeberha at the Andrew Rabie High School and will round off her tour at the Van Der Stel Sports Club in Stellenbosch, Cape Town on May 3.
The Ottawa-born artist and Juno fellow nominee, has garnered an impressive following with over 100 million global streams.
"If Anything's Left", her hit single, reached platinum status in Canada and double-platinum in South Africa.
With nearly 1.5 million followers across various platforms, Fine’s music resonates deeply with fans who appreciate her honesty, vulnerability and powerful storytelling.
She said: “The safest place in the world is in my head. Sharing my music is like opening that space to others, aiming to create a safe place for them to explore their own emotions.”
Fine shared that this tour is about putting everything she has on the table.
“Everything I feel, everything I want; getting on stage and giving everything I have to the people who keep me doing what I love – the fans. I couldn’t imagine this tour without stopping in what has easily become one of my favourite places in the world – South Africa!”
Through a video on Instagram, Fine shared more about her upcoming tour.
“South Africa, I’m coming back to your beautiful country for a third year in a row ...”
She continued to share the songs that she’ll be performing, including her hit song, “There You Go” and “You're Like”, which she first promoted in South Africa before officially releasing it worldwide.
“If you’ll have any requests you want me to play, drop them in the comments ... I can not wait to come back to genuinely one of my favourite places in the entire world, you’ll already know that though.
“South Africa, go get your ticket. We’ll see you in a few months, mwha,” she ended.
Adding to the excitement of this tour, Fine will be joined by an impressive line-up of South African musicians.
Audiences can look forward to performances from the likes of Afrikaans singers Rea Le Roux, Jennifer Zamudio and Armand Joubert, as well as radio veteran Martin Bester.
As the anticipation builds, fans took to the comments to share their excitement.
