Nomzamo Mbatha is part of the educational documentary series #DoYouStories, alongside Rihanna and Cara Delevigne, whose documentary was inspired by her trip to Uganda with UNHRC to share stories of women who are changing the world.
Mbatha attended the Puma Global Do You Campaign yesterday at Platform Theatre, King's cross in London.
This event was a call for Puma ambassadors to use their various platforms for a good course and celebrate individuality.
Using The Lighthouse foundation, Nomzamo is set to break the taboo stereotypes regarding mental illness in modern day society as part of her charitable cause.

“I have been asked on many occasions to be part of various organisations in charity.
To me, it always has to be using my platform for a greater purpose and to be mindful that there are human emotions behind these stories.
"It is not for entertainment value and never for gaining public favour. It's about taking time out to fully understand what you're committing to champion so that you advocate for it with a greater understanding and sensitivity. It's the very thing I hope to impart to others”, says Mbatha.
The #DoYouStories, documented by Delevigne is a tool to encourage young women to use their voices against various social injustices that they face daily.
