Midrand - On the opening day of the South Africa Bike Festival, Friday 25 May, the organisers will host an industry stakeholder summit to debate openly and create dialogue around the core issues facing the motorcycle industry in South Africa.
The convenors have cast their net significantly wider than the ‘usual suspects’ - the members of the Association of Motorcycle Importers and Distributors - to include road safety experts, government and licensing authorities, media, educators and riding instructors, and marketing professionals, with a view to understanding today’s motorcycle purchaser, and what the industry needs, to attract a new, untapped audience.
This inaugural networking event will start at 8am in the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit & International Convention Centre, with a compere introduction, to be followed by presentations on:
