Toyota has fine-tuned its Yaris line-up for 2013, focusing on the more popular models, and dropping the three-door variants entirely.

Simplifying the model names to "1.0", "1.3" and "1.3 CVT" reflects a straightforward three-model line-up using the proven 51kW one-litre and 73kW 1.3-litre engines, while the flagship 1.5 petrol-hybrid variants will still be badged as "XS HSD" and "XR HSD" respectively.

All Yaris models come with anti-lock braking, electronic brake-pressure distribution, brake assist and driver, front passenger and side airbags.

The one-litre and 1.3-litre manaual-gearbox models come standard with 15" alloy wheels, full exterior colour coding, air conditioning, remote central locking, multi-information display, front electric windows and mirrors, audio system with input terminal and steering wheel switches.

The 1.3 CVT adds a leather steering wheel and gear lever, while the two hybrid models have the following equipment upgrades:
