If you are on social media, you might have noticed 50 Cent offering advice left, right, and centre while a weighing in on the situations of his peers in the industry.

Not one to remain silent, he recently commented on the rap beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake and he didn't hold back with his thoughts on the latest P Diddy video either.

50 Cent quickly reacted to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s apology for a 2016 video that appears to show the Bad Boy CEO assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in a hotel.

While many of the responses were disturbing, echoing an "everybody makes mistakes" mentality, 50 Cent didn’t mince words.

He had long harboured suspicions about Diddy and was not about to let that slide.

“This is not going to work, who is advising him right now? SMH bad move,” the G-Unit boss, known for his relentless mocking of Diddy over the years, posted on Instagram on Sunday.

Earlier that day morning, Combs had taken to social media to post a video in which he took responsibility for his actions .

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life but, sometimes, you got to do that,” Combs says in his apology video on Instagram. “I was f—ed up. I mean, I hit rock bottom.

“But I make no excuses. My behaviour on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, I’m disgusted now.”

While Diddy’s apology was aimed to show accountability, 50 Cent’s reaction made it clear he wasn’t buying the remorse. The feud between the two continues to fuel heated exchanges with 50 Cent not holding back either.

Videos are resurfacing of other rappers, such as Ye.

@Oyebanji_akins brought up an important factor that many seem to overook: “When his house was raided some months ago, a lot was speculated. He couldn't make a statement due to his own personal reasons.

“However, Cassie's video showing P. Diddy losing himself over something unverifiable says a lot about what might be exposed in the future. This thread will focus on another angle: the ‘Hotel’.

“Let's agree the police can't do anything because it's old, but my question is about the hotel. Why would they agree to whatever deal prevented them from releasing this video in 2016?

“What if Cassie had lost her life? Would they have buried it just like how the video was not released until 2024? Does such a hotel still deserve to be in business?

“This kind of situation makes it hard to trust hotels because if they can bury this clip after watching it, who knows how many other things have been buried that never saw the light of day?#mixofusng“
