YouTuber Slik Talk has taken to his channel to weigh in on the drama between DJ Maphorisa and Samthing Soweto that is currently topping trends lists.

The controversial entertainment commentator, who looks almost unrecognisable due to his major weight loss, said that he enjoyed watching DJ Maphorisa’s recent meltdown.

“Why does your sadness bring me joy, why does seeing you cry make me happy. Love seeing you cry, love seeing you hell,” said Slik.

A fuming DJ Maphorisa recently went on an Instagram Live to defend himself after being accused of excluding Samthing Soweto’s credits from his new song “Amalanga Awafani” featuring Mas Musiq.

The song, which dropped on Tuesday, September 3, sparked widespread outrage on social media, with X users expressing their discontent and demanding justice, and music credits, for Samthing Soweto.

The DJ, whose real name is Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe, explained that a misunderstanding between himself and Soweto led to the song’s release without proper credits for the vocalist.

Meanwhile, Slik Talk took to YouTube to lambaste DJ Maphorisa.

“You deserve everything you’re getting for everybody you’ve been doing dirty, you deserve each and everything that you’re getting and I will be there for your downfall. I’ll be wearing shades and I’ll be celebrating when you go down like (P) Diddy.”

He continued to share that he has never seen a situation like this before.

“... Where an artist makes a song, creates a song, writes the song and then gets completely released from the song, no feature, no payment, nothing. Phori has to go down as one of the dirtiest scumbags on the face of the earth.”

He continued, “How dare you cry on Instagram Live talking about what you’ve done for amapiano ... No Phori, you haven’t created sh**, the only thing you did for amapiano was give those guys studio time and then beg for a feature ...

“How dare you remove somebody from a song that they created.”
