“Moana” not only stole the hearts of many worldwide but the film also snagged two Oscar nominations: one for Best Animated Feature and another for the original song "How Far I’ll Go."

Moana fans are excited as the trailer for "Moana 2" has finally dropped. The sequel, set three years after the 2016 Oscar-nominated original, takes us on a new adventure.

This time, Moana and her crew are on a quest to find the lost island of Motufetu. This mysterious island, once a bridge between the oceans, is now hidden by a jealous God of Storms.

In the trailer, we see Moana embracing her new role as a big sister, guiding her adorable 3-year-old sister, Simea. Auli’i Cravalho, the voice of Moana, has shared that Simea is Moana’s “whole world.”

As the leader of both land and sea, Moana is shown exploring nearby islands in search of other people while facing off against a new and unknown enemy, shrouded in a menacing purple light and surrounded by bats.

And of course, the music! While "How Far I’ll Go" from the original movie was an instant classic, "Moana 2" brings us a fresh track called "We’re Back“ and is sure to have fans singing it for a long time.

The movie, set to be released on November 27, promises to be a visual and auditory treat, with dancers and drummers from Nonosina Polynesia, under the direction of Tiana Liufau, adding authentic Polynesian flair.

The voice cast for "Moana 2" is just as star-studded as the original. Temuera Morrison returns as Tui, Nicole Scherzinger as Sina, Rose Matafeo as Loto, David Fane as Kele, Hualālai Chung as Moni, and Alan Tudyk once again brings the lovable Heihei to life.
