French fashion label Mugler, founded by the late Thiery Mugler recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Mugler pulled out some of the hottest looks from their previous collections, including iconic looks from the ‘Cirque d’Hiver’ Fall Winter 1995/1996 collection to celebrate this huge milestone.

These looks were revealed in an exclusive feature in W Magazine China Volume 3 Icon issue, where supermodel Alex Consani adorned all the garments.

One of our favourite looks is the ‘Cirque d’Hiver’ Fall/Winter 1995/1996 pink duchess and satin velvet Venus sheath dress over a blush embellished bodysuit that Cardi B wore at the 2019 Grammy Awards when she became the first woman to win the Best Rap Album award.

For the anniversary, the brand pulled five looks from the ‘Cirque d’Hiver’ Fall Winter 1995/1996 collection because it remains the best Mugler show.

Another favourite is the green crustal dress with feather fringes and the iconic gold, metal and rhinestone corset bodysuit that Beyoncé wore in her Sweet Dreams music video in 2008.

Mugler also celebrated its 50th anniversary by launching a new fragrance, Alien Hypersense Eau de Parfum.

In other news, the brand also launched a new range of sunglasses with Gentle Monster.

“Inspired by Mugler’s iconic Maschinenmensch robot heritage, these ephemeral spaces will demonstrate the powerful identities of Mugler and Gentle Monster through the movement of a kinetic structure made from the Gentle Monster Robot Lab,” read the statement from the brand.
