Content creators are so creative when it comes to making things from scratch.

A famous TikTok/Instagram content creator, Nzila Miyoba, based in Germany, went viral when she shared a recipe for the famous South African cider, Savanna.

Using apples and lemons, Miyoba said when she couldn’t find it anywhere in Germany, she decided to make the cider herself. And although it didn’t come out like the original one, it still hit the spot.

South Africans, who like having a good time, flooded Miyoba’s comment section on TikTok, asking where she was when they needed such recipes during lockdown.

“So you’re telling me if I do it tonight, it will be ready for month-end groove and I won’t have to spend that salary?” asked @Kingdom.

To which, Miyoba replied: “Yes, because it takes about a month to ferment”.

Besides making delicate dishes like sushi and tasty drinks like mazoe, Miyoba also makes her own shampoo and conditioner from scratch.

“After trying many different products, I realised that some shampoos contain harmful substances that are not good for my hair. Chemicals such as parabens, sulfate and synthetic fragrances can strip the hair of its natural oils, cause irritation and even lead to hair loss over time.

“This led me to take matters into my own hands,” she said.

While some people have asked her which ingredients she used, Miyoba has been resistant to share them, which could be because content creators steal ideas from one another and monetise them.
