It was an enchanting evening on the 7th of May, when the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City opened its doors to the highly anticipated annual MET Gala. The MET Gala is notably known as fashion’s most prestigious event. As per tradition, the MET gala red carpet is a canvas for the avant-garde and the extraordinary. It’s an event for designers and A-listers to showcase their most daring interpretations, blurring the lines between fashion and art.
This year’s theme, the “Garden of Time”, beckoned A-listers to draw upon the natural world for inspiration, and make way for fairytale-inspired beauty trends. With Spring looming over the Northern Hemisphere, A-listers fully leaned into Spring’s inspired trends dipping into pastel colours and floral embellishments.
