Cape Town - After almost two years, during a time when many have suffered incalculable loss, the Hilton Schilder Goema Club will once again take to the stage to share their art with the launch of their new album.

The band leader, a veteran, is a prolific composer, artist and multi-instrumentalist who plays both conventional instruments like piano, guitar, drums, percussion, bass and indigenous Khoisan and African instruments, has recorded 43 albums.

He is one of few musicians that play the !Xaru, a Khoisan mouthbow.

This nine-piece band is made up of polished musicians, some of who are also educators or involved in cultural music development in communities and townships in South Africa, from which they all come.

This is through either their music schools, youth groups or music administration.

This is while maintaining popular professional live performance careers.

Each band member is a popular band leader in his or her own right, with ages ranging from 19 to 41 years old.

The album was recorded and mixed in Dolby Atmos at the legendary Milestone Studios in Cape Town, with sound wizards Murray Anderson, Jethro Harris and Claire Anderson.

This band's album will be launched today and will be available on all music platforms, including SAs www.muzos.live.

You can also see them live at Swingers, in Wetton on Sunday November 28, at 7pm, with tickets going for R100.
