Cape Town - A fundraising event under the banner of the Community Network Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation, will feature a stellar cast of singers and performers.
The event, Cape Town Sings, Volume 4, will be hosted on May 28 at the Joseph Stone Auditorium in Klipfontein Road, Athlone.
The stellar line of artists includes Mujahid George (who performed for the King of Malaysia); James Bhemjee (the winner of the first instalment of the popular SA’s Got Talent competition); Fagrie Isaacs (lead singer of popular boy band, The Boyz); Ramaine Barreiro (the Queen of Cabaret); Leslie Kleinsmith (one of the most recognisable talents of Sun City Extravaganzas and musicals); Saxi G (not only is he a sought-after vocalist, but also an accomplished saxophonist) and multi-headliner Cole Adams.
The funds raised will be used to continue the feeding scheme initiatives, education, substance abuse and safer neighbourhood projects.
Block bookings are available for 50 to 200 people with a generous donation being made towards a community fund-raising initiative by participating NPOs, neighbourhood watch groups, schools, ECD’s and sporting code bodies.
Please contact RIF’AT BROWERS (Phone & WhatsApp 061 441 4411) or Robin Kellerman (phone & WhatsApp 074 819 4545).
One of the organisations that will benefit from the fundraiser will be the Choice Higher Education Support Services (Chess) which will open their doors on June 1 at Beverley Building, 3 Beverley Street, Athlone.
Chess will be offering all adult persons over the age of 21, whose last standard passed was Grade 9, the opportunity to gain their matric certificate under the Amended Senior Certificate curriculum.
