After months of public feuding on social media and TikTok, well-known South African sangomas Gogo Maweni and Gogo Skhotheni have finally buried the hatchet

Well-known sangomas Makgotso “Gogo Maweni” Mokopo and Tumi “Gogo Skhotheni” Motsoeneng have officially smoked a peace pipe.
In 2023, the reality TV stars first started feuding after Gogo Skhotheni, real name Tumi Motsoeni Shange, claimed that Maweni was copying her and her soap. Maweni responded strongly to the claims and took to social media, cursing at Skhotheni.
The beef didn't end there; the feud continued and just recently they engaged in a TikTok war where they hurled insults at each other about wearing fake brands, allegations regarding the sexuality of their husbands and on the ownership of their businesses.
Well things have now taken an interesting turn and during a TikTok live session, Gogo Maweni and Gogo Skhotheni revealed they had put the feud to rest.
“If you see me with her, don't feel like she didn't talk to me on the side. There are certain things we won't entertain but we came to the conclusion that I never did anything to her and she never did anything to me. The foundation of the conflict between us was based on lies,” said Gogo Skhotheni.
“The moral of the story is if you have an issue, call me. If I have an issue, I will call you. It didn't have to go as far as it went but I am happy that we were able to talk and resolve the issue as adults. I do apologise, I do see my wrongs,” added Gogo Maweni.
Gogo Skhotheni publicly apologised to Gogo Maweni's husband. “We can't erase what we said to each other but we can apologise. I'd like to make a formal apology to your husband. I miss you.”
