The last episode of “Uthando neS’thembu: Uncut” is fast approaching, and the trailer has viewers excited to see never-before-seen footage of Musa Mseleku and his third wife, Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku’s increasingly strained relationship.

Episode six’s trailer teases an explosive final episode that has moments that reveal the cracks in MaKhumalo and her polygamist husband's marriage.

In the trailer, MaKhumalo can be seen taking a tour of her new home and also having a tough conversation with her husband, where he recounts meeting her when she was very young.

In his confessional, Musa then says in Zulu, "Today she is making great strides because I have opened those doors for her.”

Musa’s remarks have sparked reactions from the public, with many expressing that while he may have contributed to MaKhumalo’s success, he shouldn't have downplayed her hard work in building her career and self.

@JackiePhamotse wrote on X: “This man is a loser! The type of person that hates his own wife’s success! He will always try to dim her light. Always quick to claim her work and black mail her ever chance he gets! He is weak and lacks leadership. He has failed in all areas! He is not even a provider!”

@lindzmlangeni said: “Musa helped open doors for her but he shouldn’t act like thobiles hardwork is nothing.”

@RealMadamCoco said: “Musa can’t stand an independent woman. He wants control and for you to feel beneath him like his name is more powerful than your efforts. A man like that secretly hates you.”

This is not the first time Musa has come under fire for his comments related to MaKhumalo. Last year, viewers called him out after he referred to MaKhumalo as a “failure” in a tense diary session.

“Uthando neS’thembu: Uncut” has featured unseen footage, honest conversations that have filled in the gaps on story arcs that viewers watched on previous seasons.

From MaYeni’s emotional confessions, the rising tension between the wives and Musa’s struggle to preserve his family.

Mzansi was introduced to Musa Mseleku and his four wives, MaCele, MaYeni, MaNgwabe and MaKhumalo, in May 2017 when the first season of “Uthando neS’thembu” premiered on Mzansi Magic.

Eight seasons later, viewers have witnessed their journey of transformation and growth, including the addition of wife number five, MaKhwela.
