Amapiano takes centre stage tonight as Orlando Pirates host Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium. Kick off is scheduled for 7.30pm, with thousands expected to fill the stadium for what is being described as a potential title decider.

Pirates currently sit at the top of the league standings with 38 points. Sundowns follow in second place with 32 points, although the Brazilians have played one game less in some tracking records.

A victory for the Buccaneers would stretch their lead to nine points and place them firmly in control of the title race. A win for Sundowns would close the gap and intensify their pursuit of a ninth consecutive league crown. The stakes are clear and the atmosphere is expected to reflect that.

Supporters have been encouraged to arrive early and familiarise themselves with match day information to ensure a smooth stadium experience. Beyond the action on the pitch, organisers have added a strong musical line-up to set the tone for the evening.

Amapiano artists Kammu Dee and Malemon have been announced as part of the entertainment. Dee will headline the pre-match show, while Malemon is set to perform at halftime.

Both artists are from Orlando in Soweto and rose to national recognition through collaborations with leading producers in the amapiano scene. Dee is a vocalist, producer and DJ.

He first gained widespread attention as part of the trio behind the hit “Labantwana Ama Uber” alongside Semi Tee and Miano.

The track achieved multi-platinum status and became a street anthem.

He later featured on songs such as “Lorch” with Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, “Le Plane E Landile” with Major League DJz, Abidoza and Cassper Nyovest and “Siya Trenda" with Cassper Nyovest. In 2025, he released the albums “General Dee Obovu” and “Vitamin Dee 2.0”.

Malemon built his name through his breakout single “Lemonade”, produced by Semi Tee, which reached gold status. He went on to release tracks including “Ovii” with MDU aka TRP and Semi Tee, “Uphakeme” with Semi Tee and “Coke Water”.

The two artists have also worked together on songs such as “KwamaLast”, “Suka Man" and "Ufuna Ukfela Kuphi”.

Tonight, their sound will echo through FNB Stadium before and during one of the biggest matches of the season.
