ONE person has won R8.4million in the Lotto Plus jackpot from the March 5, 2024 draw.
According to National Lottery Ithuba, the person spent R10 ticket on their winning ticket, which they purchased through a banking app.
The winner opted for a Quick-Pick.
"It just goes to show that dreams do come true, and sometimes all it takes is a R10 ticket and a sprinkle of luck," said Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza.
While congratulating the winner, Mabuza encouraged all players who played through the banking app to check their bank notifications.
Ithuba reminded players that all winners have 365 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
Winnings are paid out within 72 hours of a valid claim, and all National Lottery winnings are tax-free.
