Preschoolers at the Joyful Learning Cubs Educare in Eastridge learnt about their rights and who they can call for help, on Friday May 31, as part of Child Protection Week, which started on Wednesday May 29 and runs until today, Wednesday June 5. Principal Joy Mentor said parents visited the preschool, and the children sang songs about safety. “They have the right to education, to be fed and to be cared for,” she said.
Senior traffic officer Morriat Ngesimani also visited the preschool and spoke to the children about the rules of the road.
