The search for a missing 26-year-old woman from Fish Hoek has intensified after she was seen walking in the CBD with an unknown man earlier this week. Megan Anderson, also known as Lexy, was last seen at her grandmother’s house in Ranger Road on Saturday December 28 around 3.30pm when she left to visit friends. She was wearing black ski pants under a black spaghetti-strap dress with black takkies. She also had a long brown padded jacket with a hood attached to it, with her (“Help find Megan,” Echo, January 2). On Wednesday January 8, a member of the public shared a photograph of her, walking along Long Street towards the Foreshore with a man at around 2.30pm, said Sally Steyn of National Crime Assist (NCA), a non-profit organisation. Earlier this month, Megan’s mother, Michelle Meyer, told the Echo that Megan was vulnerable as she suffers from depression and had last taken her medication on Friday December 27. Asked to comment on the recent sighting of Megan in the CBD, Ms Meyer referred the Echo to NCA saying they are handling all media enquiries on her behalf.
