The countdown to the Tshwane Tourism Showcase 2026 has officially begun, and momentum across the tourism community is building fast. On Friday, 23 January 2026, the CSIR International Convention Centre will transform into a powerful hub of collaboration, inspiration, and opportunity as businesses from every corner of Tshwane’s tourism sector come together under one roof.
Hosted by the Tshwane Tourism Association (TTA) in partnership with the City of Tshwane, this year’s Showcase is more than an expo — it’s a celebration of shared purpose, resilience, and renewal. It’s where the city’s accommodation establishments, attractions, travel service providers, and suppliers showcase their best, exchange ideas, and spark new partnerships for a stronger tourism economy.
“Our theme for 2026 is building a safer, stronger capital for tourism,” says TTA Chairperson Susan Marais. “Through platforms like this, we’re demonstrating how collaboration between business and government can truly move our city forward.”
Exhibitors can look forward to a full day of activity and exposure, including:
A keynote by Dr Portia Sifolo, unpacking the future of tourism innovation in South Africa;
A presentation by SA Tourism, offering national insights and growth opportunities;
A Sustainability Village celebrating local products and responsible tourism; and
Networking zones, media coverage, and exclusive prizes to be won throughout the day.
The Showcase’s venue — the CSIR ICC — offers a world-class setting with excellent parking, catering, and facilities, ensuring both exhibitors and visitors enjoy a seamless experience. With over 500 attendees expected, visibility and connection opportunities are guaranteed.
Whether you’re an established hotel, a guesthouse, a restaurant, or a supplier to the industry, your participation sends a strong message: you are part of the team building Pretoria’s tourism future.
