South Africans can expect mixed weather on Monday

Four seasons in one day is the best way to describe SA’s weather on Monday, with fog, clouds, scattered rain and extreme heat expected in different parts of the country.
Fog patches are expected over escarpment areas and along the Northern Cape coast.
Gauteng, the Free State, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo are likely to see cloudy skies with a chance of rain, while temperatures will be cooler in the north-east, warm in the central parts of the country and hot to very hot in the south and west.
SA Weather Service (Saws) senior forecaster Tokelo Chiloane said: "Morning fog patches are expected over most of the escarpment areas across the country as well as along the coast of the Northern Cape.
"It will be partly cloudy across the country but cloudy in Gauteng, Free State, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo."
Chiloane said there is a 30% of rain in most parts of SA but 60% in the north-eastern parts.
"When it comes to the temperatures, it will be cool in the north-eastern parts, warm over the central parts and hot to very hot in the south and western parts."
