Tourvest Accommodation Southern Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Malibuye “Mali” Langa as Managing Director of aha Hotels & Lodges, effective 1 March 2026.
Following an extensive and rigorous search process, Langa’s appointment marks a significant milestone for the group as it positions the business for its next phase of strategic growth and operational excellence.
Mali is no stranger to Tourvest, having previously served as Group Internal Auditor from 2010 to 2013. During this time, he focused on multi-property risk management, IT governance and strengthening internal controls across accommodation, destination services and retail operations.
A Chartered Accountant with a Master’s degree in Development Finance, he brings 18 years of senior leadership experience spanning financial management, corporate finance, risk governance and complex public-private partnerships. Most recently, he served for six years as Chief Executive Officer of an integrated property management concession, having previously held the role of Chief Financial Officer. In these positions, he led facilities management turnaround initiatives, capital optimisation strategies, asset upgrades and service enhancements — experience that aligns closely with aha’s growth ambitions.
His return to Tourvest underscores the group’s commitment to leadership excellence, governance and sustainable growth across its Southern African portfolio. Under his guidance, aha Hotels & Lodges is poised to further enhance its market position while delivering authentic, quality hospitality experiences.
