Hong Kong -
A self-styled superheroine who dresses in a mask and a low-cut basque to hand out cash and food to Hong Kong's poor is the inspiration behind the next project of the maker of a hit 3-D sex film, a newspaper report said Thursday.
Filmmaker Stephen Shiu Jr told the South China Morning Post that his next project would be an action movie telling the tale of Hong Kong's Bauhinia Heroine rather than a follow-up to his 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy, the world's first 3-D porn movie, released in April.
Model-turned-actress Chrissie Chau is to play the Bauhinia Heroine, who named herself after the flower in Hong Kong's flag.
Shiu said he and his team had yet to decide whether to make the film in 3-D. Filming was expected to begin this year.
The real-life Bauhinia Heroine is a mystery businesswoman who has appeared in recent months to hand out hundreds of US dollars in cash and food in inner-city areas.
A Facebook page dedicated to her has attracted about 5 600 fans. -
