The Pan Africanist Congres of Azania (PAC) is saddened to announce the tragic loss of our beloved member, Nomthandazo Brenda “Nopetse” Bam, who was brutally shot dead by thugs at the funeral of one of our heroines, Yolanda “Nombrityis” Mjuza. We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and community of our fallen comrade.
On Saturday February 22 she was we laid to rest in a dignified and respectful manner. The PAC of Azania would like to extend its gratitude to the family, community and all who participated in the funeral proceedings. Your support and solidarity during this difficult time are greatly appreciated.
The PAC of Azania has always stood by its members, and in this time of grief, we have taken it upon ourselves to cover the funeral costs. This is a testament to our commitment to our members and their families. We will continue to support and protect our members, even in the face of adversity.
The senseless killing of our member is a stark reminder of the dangers faced by our people in our communities. We call upon the authorities to take immediate action to ensure that justice is served. We also urge our communities to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
The PAC of Azania will continue to fight for the rights and dignity of our people. We will not be intimidated by the forces of oppression and violence. We will persevere and we will triumph.
