Vukile Property Fund launches national DISKI FANFEST with Doctor Khumalo headlining five malls

Vukile Property Fund is bringing the beautiful game to its  shoppers with the launch of the first-ever national Vukile DISKI FANFEST – a five-weekend celebration of soccer, fun and community pride. 

The five-shopping-mall tour kicks off at Daveyton Mall from Friday to Sunday, October 24 to 26, headlined by South African soccer legend Doctor Khumalo. In fact, Doctor Khumalo will be joining fans at each stop of the tour, creating unforgettable moments with local communities.

At Daveyton Mall, supporters can meet him on Saturday, October 25 from noon to 2pm. 

Soccer meets community 

Customers and communities are the heart of Vukile’s shopping centres. The DISKI FANFEST is  the latest expression of Vukile’s investment in experiences that strengthen communities and make sure their malls are vibrant social hubs – spaces that foster belonging, local pride and shared experience.

A game-changing goal 

More than local heroes, lively fans and lasting memories, the experience will leave each  community better off, because the Vukile DISKI FANFEST celebrates the beautiful game while  inspiring, growing and investing in local soccer talent. 

Every stop on the tour includes youth soccer development initiatives, as well as the handover of  five full soccer kits valued at R80 000 to local community clubs.

Gugulethu Square: Friday to Sunday, November 14 to 16 (Doctor Khumalo – Sunday, November 16, 11am to 1pm) 

Mdantsane City: Friday to Sunday, November 21 to 23 (Doctor Khumalo – Saturday November 22, 11am to 1pm) 

Pinecrest Centre: Friday to Sunday, November 28 to 30 (Doctor Khumalo – Sunday, November 30 Nov, 11am to 1pm) 

FanFest highlights 

From Friday to Sunday (10am -3pm) at each mall, shoppers can look forward to:

• Freestyle soccer shows and skills challenges  
• Dance-offs, trivia, and high-energy fan activations  
• Themed photo opportunities and live entertainment
