Mzansi is ablaze with drama after a leaked recording of Gogo Maweni (real name Lee-Anne Mokopo) confronting her husband, Sabelo Magube, surfaced online.

In the viral audio, the well-known traditional healer is heard instructing her husband to cut ties with another woman, making it clear that she even knows the woman’s address.

“Tell her that you don’t want to be with her, you don’t want to see her, and I have her f*cking address, okay? … and whatever you guys were doing together is over,” Maweni is heard saying.

While she has remained silent on the matter, Magube has stepped forward, confirming the authenticity of the recording.

In a video response, he admitted to the affair but stressed that it happened a long time ago and was a mistake.

“We all make mistakes and learn from them,” he said, adding that he is now focused on his marriage and his pregnant wife.

Social media has been in overdrive since the audio emerged, with opinions divided.

Many followers couldn’t get past how scripted Magube’s response sounded. In the comment section, fans didn’t hold back, with one user asking, “Is he reading a news bulletin or something?”

Another shared the same opinion, “Why is he talking like he’s reading a story??? Or he’s reading the news or a poem?” While someone else suggested, “Well, he may have been forced to do this.”
