From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm Zulu words Wamkelekile ekhaya, meaning “welcome home.” That simple greeting set the tone for my entire stay. Whether interacting with the friendly staff at reception or the attentive waiters at the restaurant, I always felt like I was right where I was meant to be.
