Khule attended extra mathematics and physical science lessons every weekend. “I had no day offs,” she said, explaining how missing other subjects placed extra pressure on her during exams. “Exams were nerve-wracking… but that was also motivating too.” Despite the strain, she persevered. “However with the guidance of God I was miraculously able to pass all my 8 subjects beautifully,” she said, crediting her teachers, friends and family.

She highlighted educators who believed in her when she doubted herself, calling their support a major confidence boost. One of her proudest moments was academic recognition. “The biggest highlight though is being apart of the top 10 matriculants of my school in my Preliminary exams.”

Khule hopes to study Medicine or Computer Science at Wits, UP or UCT, with becoming a medical doctor as her long-term goal. Her journey revealed inner strength. “It taught me that I was really stronger than I thought I was,” she said.

Her advice to the Class of 2026 was faith-driven: “They should keep God in their hearts and be strong in their faith.”
