LOOK: Siya Kolisi shares iconic moment with Alicia Keys at Broadway’s ‘Hell’s Kitchen’

South African rugby star Siya Kolisi is soaking up every moment of his US trip, and this time, it included rubbing shoulders with the global and multi-award-winning singer Alicia Keys.

The Boks captain took to Instagram to share that he attended “Hell’s Kitchen”, a musical Broadway inspired by the singer herself and later met with Keys backstage.

“Witnessed ‘Hell’s Kitchen’, Alicia Keys’ powerful journey about finding your voice, your purpose and the people who lift you up.

“@aliciakeys, it was lovely to meet you and thank you for the unforgettable memory. Guys ndimcelile usisi @aliciakeys to come visit us e’Mzansi,” Kolisi captioned his post.

The post also featured a series of pictures where Kolisi posed with Keys for a picture, while another picture was of Kolisi standing outside the iconic Shubert Theatre and behind him are theatre lights with bold yellow lettering that reads: “Hell’s Kitchen - A New Musical From Alicia Keys.”

The 35-year-old also shared a video, explaining that he is grateful to witness the musical experience as he proceeded to say: “And guys, I did invite her to SA, ndithe makaze azosibona e’SA (I said she must come visit us in SA) so hopefully she’ll come perform in SA.”

Kolisi is certainly enjoying his time in the US as he keeps us updated on what he is up to almost daily.

During his time in NYC, he visited The Juilliard School, dined at a local cafe, visited the iconic Empire State Building, where he joked about his fear of heights, had some fun with American football player, Paschal Ekeji Jr. and even got to wear and sign some of his gear.

Before his New York trip, he went to Los Angeles to attend the NBA All-Star game.

He even met the likes of Festus Ezeli, a former NBA player; rapper and actor Ludacris; actor Sterling Brown; Canadian actress Annie Murphy, among many others.

Rachel John’s posts catch fans’ attention

While the Boks captain is soaking in his American trip, fans noted that he had some company along with him - his rumoured girlfriend, Rachel John.

According to some fans who did a bit of digital digging, it was certainly not coincidental that John and Kolisi’s posts are very similar.

From the two of them travelling to the US at the same time, to posting the NBA All-Star content, and then posting their NYC trip. One thing is very clear - the pair are together on this trip.
