Caitlyn Jenner says her passport came back marked "male" under President Donald Trump’s Gender Policy, and now she’s reaching out for help.

Caitlyn Jenner just found out that political loyalty doesn't always come with VIP perks.
Despite being a vocal Donald Trump supporter and a regular at Trump's Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago, the Olympian and reality TV star is officially grounded after her renewed passport came back marked "male".
Jenner, who publicly came out as transgender in 2015, said that she had previously updated all of her identification documents to reflect female, including her birth certificate.
During an interview with conservative commentator Tomi Lahren, Jenner explained that when she recently renewed her passport, it came back marked as male despite her submitting a female birth certificate.
“Recently, I had my passport, I had to get it renewed. I sent it back, comes back gender marker ‘M', so now, I’m in a position, Tomi, that… What do I do? This is a safety factor. I can’t travel internationally anymore. I can’t use my passport," she said.
Jenner said that she first tried to challenge the change through official channels, but her request was denied.
She revealed that she left a handwritten note with the Secret Service at Mar-a-Lago and followed up with a formal letter to the President.
“I was in Mar-a-Lago two months ago, wrote a letter, explaining all of this to him, how it’s affecting me and a lot of other people ... I haven’t heard from him. He’s kind of busy right now.," she said.
The change is a direct result of Executive Order 14168, titled "Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government", signed by Trump in January 2025.
The policy mandates that all federal documents, including passports, must reflect an individual's sex assigned at birth.
The order also eliminated the "X" gender marker option that had been introduced under the previous administration.
In November 2025, the US Supreme Court upheld the administration’s right to enforce these restrictions, leading to widespread reports of transgender individuals receiving documents with reverted gender markers.
Actress Hunter Schafer and drag artist Aja have also reported similar issues with their federal identification being reverted to their sex assigned at birth.
Despite the hurdle, Jenner has remained a staunch supporter of Trump.
“My gender marker is not big on the issue, okay. So I get that, and I’m not blaming him whatsoever. I love the guy, and I love what he’s doing."
Meanwhile, the LGBTQIA+ advocates say that they have been warning about these exact consequences since 2024. They argue that forcing trans people to carry ID that doesn't match their appearance puts them at high risk for harassment or detention during international travel.
While Jenner is waiting for a callback from Trump, social media is busy throwing a "Welcome Back" party she never asked for.
"Welcome back, Bruce 😂😂😂," joked @jujuthegentleman.
"Shoutout to Mrs Doubtfire, I meant Bruce! For not changing his voice lol," laughed @1king.jayyy.
"Bruce on the loose! 😂," wrote kiy_.
"He thought he was bigger than the program 💀😂 that’s what you get for thinking you have friends in high places 🤣," commented @beingalexarmstrong1969.
"Sthu Bruce you thought you were better then the other trans folks, cus you were a conservative now you’re finding out that fat meat is greasy and they see you as a man #nextcase 👨⚖️," said @lovelyti__."
